How to get to Ericeira - from Lisbon Airport Private Transfer to Ericeira From Lisbon Airport to Ericeira, our advice is to use a private transfer. Private transfers are faster and cheaper when it comes to a couple or a family. As a courtesy, we arrange and monitor your transfer. Payment is always made directly to the driver. Bus from Lisbon to Ericeira (route from the airport) Lisbon is connected to Ericeira through a regular and economical bus service operated by the company Mafrense. The latest calendar can be consulted on the Mafrense website (www.mafrense.pt) and here is a link: http://www.mafrense.pt/FileGet.aspx?FileId=5549 At the airport take the Metro to Campo Grande Bus Station. The yellow and green metro lines connect to Campo Grande, where the Mafrense bus leaves in the direction of Ericeira. The stop is poorly signposted, so always consider some extra time to find it. https://www.metrolisboa.pt/viajar/mapas-e-diagramas/ Take the Metro from the airport (red line) and change at "Alameda" station to the green line, bound for "Telheiras", and get off at Campo Grande station. The journey from Lisbon airport to the bus terminal takes about 30 minutes. When arriving at the Terminal, look for the "Mafrense" buses. They leave every 90 minutes and start operating from 8 am and ending at 11 pm. You can only buy tickets when you get on the bus, directly from the bus driver, and they usually cost around 10 € (only 1 trip). This is a journey that takes a little longer and can be more expensive for a family. Car hire (from Lisbon airport) If you prefer to have more freedom during your holidays to get to know the region, the option is to rent a car at Lisbon Airport. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Large car rental companies have a counter at the airport on the arrival floor. We advise you to book in advance online, it is cheaper and the process to pick up the car is faster.
